Algaic agents can do a lot autonomously and make spontaneous decisions on the job, handling routine tasks like processing emails, updating systems, scheduling meetings, and following established workflows without constant supervision. They operate with guardrails that you define: you determine when agents should escalate to loop you in, whether that's for complex decisions, edge cases, or specific types of requests. This gives you the flexibility to set boundaries that match your comfort level and business needs while letting agents work independently within those parameters.
Algaic agents use adaptive learning to improve their performance while working and observing your business operations. When an Algaic agent encounters a situation outside its training or confidence threshold, it follows an escalation protocol. The agent will pause the task, notify the appropriate human team member with context about what it was trying to accomplish and why it's uncertain, and wait for guidance. This prevents agents from making guesses or incorrect decisions. Once a human provides direction, the agent learns from that interaction and can handle similar situations more independently in the future.
AI agents excel as partners to humans, but they have clear limitations. They're not good with relationship building, jobs requiring emotional intelligence, or creative work.
